Wellness Wheel

Steps
Making Changes

It's very common for life to feel out of balance at times. When this happens, it can feel overwhelming to make changes.

One way to start is by picking an area on your "wellness wheel" to focus on. When we reflect on different areas in our life, we're able to make small changes in areas that might need more attention, to ultimately bring us more balance.

Using the Wheel

This week, look at the wellness wheel to determine which dimensions of wellness you'd like to focus on:

  • Rank each section 0 (not satisfied at all) to 10 (very satisfied) depending on how satisfied you are in that specific area.
  • Once you've completed your wheel, celebrate any section you feel proud of.
  • Choose one or two areas you'd like to focus on improving, with specific goals. For example, if you want to focus more on exercise, instead of, "work out more," try, "walk for 25 minutes in the mornings four days per week."

Be kind to yourself in this process. All of these areas can contribute to your overall mental well-being. It’s a place to start!

When we reflect on different areas in our life, we're able to focus on small actions to bring us more balance.
