A home sleep study measures airflow, breathing, oxygen, and heart rate to detect if you have sleep apnea.
On the day of your study, follow these tips for the most accurate results:
- Stick to your regular routine.
- Take all of your regular medications the day of the test, including medication for insomnia if you take it every night.
To get the most accurate results:
- Select a night to use the device when you can go to bed and get up at your usual time.
- Sleep in the place you usually sleep.
- Try to sleep for at least 5 to 6 hours the night you use the device.
- If you have trouble sleeping, use the device again the next night.

We'll let you know when we get your results. This typically takes about 2 to 3 weeks after you send the device back.
